Hi, I’m Allie.

I’m not entirely sure which version of me brought you here, or if we are meeting for the very first time.

Maybe you know the weird, quirky black girl. Maybe you know Sergeant Snowden. Perhaps you’ve encountered the chronic overthinker. Maybe you know the sweet girl with a kind heart, good intentions, and occasionally questionable judgement.

Or maybe we’re strangers.

In either case, welcome.

For years, I have filled notebooks with thoughts I never expected anyone else to read. Looking back, those journals became more than a collection of memories. They became a record of my very being.

This space exists for three reasons.

First, to share the amazingness of my God. Not because my life has been perfect, but because His Grace and Loyalty have proven to me that I am His. Glory, glory! His Faithfulness has remained consistent through every chapter.

Second, to contribute to mental health awareness.

And lastly, if I’m being honest, to practice working again. Writing has always helped me make sense of life, and this space gives me somewhere meaningful to show up, create, and keep growing.

Here you will find a blend of to-date and old journals, poetry, lessons learned the hard way, and a collection of stories from a woman who is still becoming.

I’ve messed up enough times to stay humble and learned enough along the way to stay grateful. Somewhere in between is a perfectly imperfect version of me.

Welcome to my story so far.
